Sub-Accounts

The Sub-Accounts feature in 9Proxy allows you to create multiple sub-accounts under your main account, making it easier to distribute proxies, delegate access, and collaborate with your team while maintaining full control over proxy usage. With this feature, you can allocate a specific number of IPs to each sub-account, manage their settings, and ensure seamless operation without compromising security.

How To Create a Sub-Account

1

Sign in to your 9Proxy Dashboard > Navigate to Sub-Accounts.

2

Add a new Sub-Account.

3

Enter the number of IPs to assign to the sub-account, set a password, and add a remark if needed.

You can enable automatic proxy replenishment for the Sub-Account. When the sub-account’s proxy balance drops below a certain threshold, proxies will be added automatically from your main account. This prevents disruptions and ensures seamless operations.

4

Click "Add Now" to complete the setup.

Managing Sub-Accounts

After creating a sub-account, you can manage its settings and monitor its usage from the Sub-Accounts section. This section provides a list of all your sub-accounts, displaying their allocated IP balance and other relevant details.

Lock a Sub-Account

If you want to temporarily disable a sub-account without deleting it, you can click the lock icon to prevent it from accessing proxies.

Edit Sub-Account Details

Click the edit icon to modify the Sub-account’s settings. You can change the password, update the Remark for better organization, and adjust the number of allocated IPs. If you reduce the number of IPs assigned to the sub-account, those IPs will be returned to your main account, and if you increase the allocation, the corresponding number of IPs will be deducted from your balance.

Delete a Sub-Account

If a Sub-account is no longer needed, you can permanently remove it by clicking the delete icon. Once deleted, the sub-account will no longer have access to proxies, and any remaining IP balance will be returned to your main account.

NOTE

  • Sub-Accounts can only log in through the 9Proxy App, not via the web dashboard.

  • Sub-Accounts cannot modify their login credentials or account settings, meaning only the main account has control over their configuration, ensuring centralized management and security.
