First, you will need to download and install the FoxyProxy extension For Chromearrow-up-right or For Firefoxarrow-up-right.
Before proceeding with the setup, confirm that you’ve successfully port forwarded your proxy for proper functionality.
Click on the FoxyProxy icon in your browser.
Select Options to access the proxy configuration panel.
Navigate to Proxies → Add to create a new proxy profile.
Title: Assign a recognizable name to your proxy.
Proxy Type: Select SOCKS5 or HTTP(S) based on your configuration.
Hostname: Your Local IP
Port: The port number you forwarded the proxy to
Click Save to apply the settings.
Select the newly added proxy from the FoxyProxy menu.
Start browsing with your 9Proxy-powered connection.
To ensure your proxy is set up correctly, visit https://ipinfo.io/what-is-my-iparrow-up-right to check if your IP address has changed.
