# iPhone & iPad

This guide will show you how to configure your iPhone or iPad to use the **9Proxy App** running on your computer.

## Before You Begin

* Make sure both your computer and iPhone/iPad are connected to the same local network (**LAN**).
* Ensure your firewall isn't blocking connections between devices.

### Step 1: Find Your Computer’s LAN IP Address

You'll need to [find your computer’s LAN IP](https://docs.9proxy.com/intergrations/residential-proxy-by-ips/use-proxies-on-two-or-more-devices) to connect your iPhone or iPad to the proxy.

### Step 2: Launch 9Proxy and Set Up Port Forwarding

* Open the 9Proxy App on your computer.
* In the **Proxy List**, locate the Port section.

* Select the **LAN IP** address you just found.
* Port forward the selected proxy to any port you’d like.

* Go to the **Forwarding List** to copy the proxy details (IP + Port).

### Step 3: Configure Proxy Settings on iPhone/iPad (Wi-Fi)

Open **Settings**.

Tap **Wi-Fi**.

Find the connected Wi-Fi (✔️ checkmark), then tap the blue ℹ️ info icon.

Scroll down and tap **Configure Proxy** → Select **Manual**.

Enter the IP address and Port from 9Proxy.

Tap **Save**.

### NOTE

iOS only supports HTTP proxies natively. To use SOCKS5, follow the instructions below.

## Using a SOCKS5 Proxy via Shadowrocket (iOS)

Download **Shadowrocket** from the **App Store**.

Open the app and tap the "+" icon.

Tap **Type** → Select SOCKS5.

Enter the **Proxy IP** and **Port** from 9Proxy.

Tap Finish.

On the home screen, tap **Connect** to test and start the proxy.

Your iPhone/iPad is now connected to your 9Proxy proxy!
