# Dolphin{anty}

## Getting Started

Before you begin:

* Download Dolphin{anty} and create an account [here](https://dolphin-anty.com/)
* Confirm that you have successfully [port-forwarded your proxy](https://docs.9proxy.com/getting-started/residential-proxy-by-ips/for-macos-windows/configure-proxy) for proper functionality.

## Proxy Setup

Open **Dolphin{anty}**.

On the main screen, click **CREATE PROFILE**.

Enter a profile name (you can use any name you like)

Go to the NEW PROXY tab

Select your proxy protocol (HTTP or SOCKS5)

Enter your proxy details in the format: **Local IP:Port**

Click **CREATE** to save the profile

Click **START** to launch the browser profile using your proxy.

## Confirm Your Proxy is Working

To verify your proxy is working, visit[ ipinfo.io](https://ipinfo.io/) and check if the displayed IP address matches your proxy.
