FoxyProxy Extension

First, you will need to download and install the FoxyProxy extension For Chrome or For Firefox

Before proceeding with the setup, confirm that you’ve successfully port forwarded your proxy for proper functionality.

Proxy Setup

Open FoxyProxy Settings

  • Click on the FoxyProxy icon in your browser.

  • Select Options to access the proxy configuration panel.

Add a New Proxy

  • Navigate to ProxiesAdd to create a new proxy profile.

Configure Your Proxy

  • Title: Assign a recognizable name to your proxy.

  • Proxy Type: Select SOCKS5 or HTTP(S) based on your configuration.

  • Hostname: Your Local IP.

  • Port: The port number you forwarded the proxy to.

  • Click Save to apply the settings.

Activate Your Proxy

  • Select the newly added proxy from the FoxyProxy menu.

  • Start browsing with your 9Proxy-powered connection.

To ensure your proxy is set up correctly, visit https://ipinfo.io/what-is-my-ip to check if your IP address has changed.
