Follow these simple steps to configure a proxy on your macOS:

Forward Proxy IP to Port

Before configuring the proxy on macOS, make sure you have already forwarded your proxy IP to a port using 9Proxy.

Access Proxy Settings

1

Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen

2

Open System Settings (or System Preferences depending on your macOS version)

3

In the search bar, type Proxies and select it from the search results

Set Up and Use a Proxy Server

1

Select the Proxies tab

2

Check the box for SOCKS Proxy

3

Enter your proxy server’s IP address and the port number you forwarded earlier

4

Click OK to save your settings

Done! Your Mac is now connected through the proxy.
