In this guide, we'll walk you through how to set up your Residential Proxy in AdsPower step-by-step.
Make sure you've already created your proxy sessionarrow-up-right in your dashboard.
Download and install AdsPower for your operating system from the official websitearrow-up-right.
Launch the app after installation.
Click “New Profile” from the main dashboard.
Navigate to the “Proxy” section.
Fill in the following fields based on your proxy credentials:
Proxy Type
Select either HTTPS or SOCKS5 (based on your proxy configuration).
Proxy Host
Enter your proxy IP address.
Proxy Port
Enter the port number assigned to your session.
Proxy Username
Structured 9Proxy username (see format below)
Proxy Password
Your sub-account password.
Username Format:
<subaccount>-country-<country_code>-st-<state_code>-city-<city_code>-isp-<isp_code>-ssid-<session_id>-sst-<session_time>
If you haven’t created a sub-user or generated a proxy yet, please create one here arrow-up-rightbefore proceeding.
Example Configuration:
Proxy Host: 38.180.149.107
Proxy Port: 17521
Proxy Username: 9proxy-country-US-ssid-phTMYuotAy
Proxy Password: 12345678
Click the “Check Proxy” button to verify the connection.
If everything checks out, click “OK” to save the settings.
That’s it! Your proxy is now successfully integrated into your AdsPower browser profile.
