In this guide, we'll walk you through how to set up your Residential Proxy in AdsPower step-by-step.

Before You Begin:

Make sure you've already created your proxy sessionarrow-up-right in your dashboard.

Install AdsPower

Create a New Profile

  • Click “New Profile” from the main dashboard.

  • Navigate to the “Proxy” section.

Enter Your Proxy Details

Fill in the following fields based on your proxy credentials:

Proxy Type

Select either HTTPS or SOCKS5 (based on your proxy configuration).

Proxy Host

Enter your proxy IP address.

Proxy Port

Enter the port number assigned to your session.

Proxy Username

Structured 9Proxy username (see format below)

Proxy Password

Your sub-account password.

Username Format:

<subaccount>-country-<country_code>-st-<state_code>-city-<city_code>-isp-<isp_code>-ssid-<session_id>-sst-<session_time>

If you haven’t created a sub-user or generated a proxy yet, please create one here arrow-up-rightbefore proceeding.

Example Configuration:

  • Proxy Host: 38.180.149.107

  • Proxy Port: 17521

  • Proxy Username: 9proxy-country-US-ssid-phTMYuotAy

  • Proxy Password: 12345678

Test Your Proxy

  • Click the “Check Proxy” button to verify the connection.

  • If everything checks out, click “OK” to save the settings.

That’s it! Your proxy is now successfully integrated into your AdsPower browser profile.
