**April 1: Smarter connections, powerful protocols, and a fresh new look \[Version 2.0.1.5]**

We’ve been busy fine-tuning 9Proxy for Windows to make it faster, more flexible, and even easier to use. This update brings major improvements to performance, customization, and user experience. Here’s what’s new:

## ✨ What’s New in Version Windows 2.0.1.5

### Proxy Connection Format

Easily choose between proxy connection formats to suit different applications and browsers, making integration simpler and more flexible.

You can now copy proxies in four formats:

```
username:password:host:port

username:password@host:port

host:port:username:password

port:host:username:password
```

If Proxy Authentication is not enabled, the Username:Password fields will be ignored in these formats.

Configure this in **Settings** > **Proxy Settings**.

### Customizable Engine Protocols

We’re introducing two powerful protocols that give you more control over how your traffic is optimized:

* **QUX Protocol** – Designed for speed. Reduce ping and enjoy ultra-responsive performance for real-time tasks like gaming and live data.
* **MUX Protocol** – Built for efficiency. This protocol optimizes bandwidth by multiplexing your traffic — ideal for high-volume scraping or streaming.

Configure this feature in **Settings** > **Proxy Settings**.

### New Light Mode

A brighter experience is here. Light Mode brings a clean, sleek interface that’s easier on the eyes in well-lit environments. Enjoy effortless navigation with a polished new look.
